MITOS in Greek means 'thread'. In Greek mythology, Theseus found his way through the labyrinth and defeated the Minotaur with the help of a thread that was given to him by Ariadne, the daughter of King Minos.
Systemic therapy is about finding our way through life's numerous labyrinths, with the help of those closest to us, just like Theseus did with the help of Ariadne.

Mitos is a Systemic Therapy Practice for families, couples and individuals in Rotterdam and online. The sessions at Mitos Relationship and Family Therapy are in English or Greek.
About Vasiliki
MSc Systemic Psychotherapy, Systemic Supervisor
Vasiliki is a Greek and English speaking Systemic Therapist with many years of experience in Adult and Child/Adolescent Mental Health in Ireland and the UK. She has moved to the Netherlands in 2020 and founded MITOS Relationship and Family Therapy. Vasiliki is a holder of the European Certificate of Psychotherapy (ECP), registered member of NVRG (Nederlandse Vereniging voor Relatie- en Gezinstherapie), UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy) and NAP (Nederlandse Associatie voor Psychotherapie). Vasiliki is also a Systemic Supervisor, approved by the following professional bodies: NVRG, AFT and UKCP.
